Atlanta Abilities Expo,
November 6-8
Abilities Expo: One Man’s Vision of Progress Becomes a Community’s Reality. Thirty years ago, Richard Wooten, motivated by his own physical challenges, dreamed of an event that would help to forge a better life for others with disabilities. This inspired vision became Abilities Expo, a trade show which resonated with the community of people with disabilities and whose effects would be felt for decades to come.
The Community has spoken! Abilities Expo is the event where people with disabilities, their families, caregivers and healthcare professionals gain knowledge and empowerment (and have a little fun!). Likewise, for more than 30 years, Abilities Expo has provided an excellent forum for companies with disability products and services to reach out and enhance the lives of this Community.
This year's event will be held November 6-8, 2009 at the Cobb Galleria Convention Center in Atlanta, Georgia, from 11:00 AM-5:00 PM on Friday, 10:00 AM-5:00 PM on Saturday, and 11:00 AM-4:00 PM on Sunday. Complete details are available at www.abilitiesexpo.com.
