Space is still available to register for this two-part webinar which offers the latest perspectives from leading experts across the country. These webinars will provide an organization-wide approach to implementing accessibility.
For accessibility practitioners and administrators involved with starting up or revamping an organizational accessibility program, there will be many questions including funding, policy, product development, and employment diversity. While a plethora of information exists that addresses the technical aspects of IT accessibility conformance, the same is not yet true for many of these non-technical aspects. Many of us focus on the technical problems and solutions when starting out, but if accessibility is not addressed in the soup-to-nuts process of accessibility (i.e., organization wide), then efforts in the technical area can easily go to waste. The presenters in this two-part webinar series will be addressing these roadblocks, and their successes, in implementing an effective accessibility road map within their organizations.
Presenters:
• Chris Law, President of Accessibility Track Consulting, LLC
• Jeff Kline, Program Director, Statewide Electronic and Information Resources (EIR) Accessibility, Texas Dept. of Information Resources
• Jim Tobias, Owner of Inclusive Technologies
• Norman Robinson, Section 508 Program Manager at US Department of State
• Kendra Skeene, Director of Product at GeorgiaGov Interactive
• Andrew Nielson, Program Manager at Engility Corporation
